This series fuses Amapiano swing, Durban Gqom weight, and relentless techno pressure — layered with whistles, tribal shakers, and whooshing bass that breathes like an air hangar moving air. Minimal melodies rise and dissolve into haze, while percussion locks bodies into trance.

New Jackson is next up on Maeve with a reissue of a track very close to our hearts, The Night Mail. Originally released on POGO Recordings back in 2011, it became something of a sleeper hit. Having always been fans of the original we are delighted to bring this newly remastered version along with an original B-side entitled "By Its Own Light". Both tracks get remixes from Mano Le Tough to round off the record.

We are thrilled at Bar 25 Music to present the duo Dole & Kom. The two German DJs and producers have made a name for themselves internationally and are central to the electronic club scene. They have already presented their musical style with own compilations for Bar 25 Music. For their release ‘Together Onetime’, the two are supported by the remixers Dilby and Agent! Dilby remixes here with his typical fresh and warm sound. The remix by Agent! puts additional pressure on the original track. Definitely a release for a hot club night!

Wir freuen uns das Duo Dole & Kom auf Bar 25 Music zu präsentieren. Die beiden deutschen DJ’s und Produzenten haben sich international einen Namen gemacht und sind nicht mehr aus der elektronischen Clubszene wegzudenken. Ihren eigenständigen Stil stellten sie bereits bei einigen Compilations auf Bar 25 Music unter Beweis. Bei ihrem Release ‘Together Onetime’ werden die beiden zudem von dem Remixer Dilby und Agent! tatkräftig unterstützt. Dilby remixt hier mit seinem typisch frischen und warmen Klang. Der Remix von Agent! bringt noch einmal ordentlichen Druck auf das Original. Definitiv ein Release für eine heiße Clubnacht!

@samgoku is on fire. Right after his Every Step EP we now present Paradise Drum: a dazzling 3-track EP that further expands his vivid sound palette. The new EP is an absolute highlight from a producer on the rise. The tracks sound connected but have a very different focus - a quality where only the biggest producers live up to. It's out May 1.

Opening track Momentum is a deep, tribal work. The incredible drive of tom drums spans throughout its 8-minute arrangement. There’s beautiful detail in every aspect of the track and the harmonies of the lead-pad make it a contender for being one of the big tunes of this years summer. Orchids Rapture, the second track of the EP, sounds more robust. It's a darker club record with a repetitive, sharp lead synth. The closing/title track Paradise Drum completes the EP. Here, Sam Goku goes wild on percussions. The breakbeat driven arrangement is topped off with a beautiful B-part that showcases compelling synth work.

Sam Goku’s real name is Robin Wang. He is based in Munich and his upbringing was Chinese for the most part. His parents moved to Germany in the early 90’s. Growing up with two different cultures, and mentalities, it’s those two contrasting influences we can hear back in the music. “I often talk to people who, respectively, don’t understand the other side and talk badly about other customs and traditions. I’d love to bring to people the understanding, that behind the differences in behaviors and measures, there are often similar, if not the same, emotions and motivations. I believe we need to nurture our culture of understanding. Since I am not a political person, I try to transmit this modest message through my music.”

Damian Lazarus presents ‘Mountain’ - the opening single from his first solo album for over 10 years.

Released on the 24th July, ‘Mountain’ is a fusion of darkness and light circumnavigating the outer edges of the dance floor. Complete with a Balearic infused remix from Tornado Wallace and deep-chugging transcendental Tibi Dabo Remix to throw the arc wider still. This new body of work, written and recorded by Lazarus at home in Italy during lockdown, is entitled ‘Flourish” and will be released on the 4th September on Crosstown Rebels.
