Title track ‘​Bright Lights’ explores the vocal delights of Digitaria with hypnotising effect scattered over high intensity chords and layers of hypersonic percussion. Second original offering, ‘​Cutoff’, p​ropels along a magnetic melody and vocal hook. Perfect for the after hours, Walker & Royce’s remix is all about the trippy vocals and a chunky, lo­slung bass. Rounding off the release, Scurrilous add a healthy dose of acid to their compelling version.

o+ H​aving met randomly on the way to Croatia four years ago, 1​2 Stories m​aterialised as a project built to bring two musical styles and influences together to create something fresh and exciting. The duo’s production efforts have so far seen a remix of Jenkyn’s own ‘​On Me’,​a remix of Walker and Royce and their first full release ‘​Night Obscure EP’ on Hot Creations. Originally from South Shields, M​ark Jenkyns has enjoyed a series of well received releases on Hot Creations, Hot Waves, Crosstown Rebels and Dogmatik. C​hristopher Sylvester under his Inxec alias has released on a wealth of labels including Contexterior, Last Night on Earth, Leftroom, Get Physical, Culprit and Crosstown Rebels.

o+o R​espected duo Sam Walker and Gavin Royce aka W​alker & Royce f​ormed in 2011 and have since released on the likes of Crosstown Rebels, Moda Black, Pets Recordings and OFF Recordings. Manchester’s latest offering Adam and Andre are DJ and production duo S​currilous.​Their first release appeared on Foreign Language Records and this remix on VIVa MUSiC paves the way for more to come including a full EP on VIVa remixed by Paul C & Paolo Martini.

Definition:Music is absolutely delighted to welcome Darius Syrossian once again with a heavy 3 track release titled ‘Back to Truth’. The title track features a stunning low-end with beautifully simple synth work. Listen close, because this is what brilliant house music sounds like. As the title suggests, ‘Acid Fifteen’ sets its feet firmly in acid-house territory. Drawing inspiration from the countless classic before it; ‘Acid Fifteen’ captures our attention and delivers a punch in the same breath, and always keeping the energy rising. The third track comes thanks to Nick Curly, who has remixes ‘Back To Truth’ and adds a steady burn with a groovy low-end. The track sticks to a fantastic tech house vibe throughout, rising and falling; taking us along with it.

Making his debut on Rebellion, a label that champions music for the early hours, famed DJ, producer and vocalist Kevin Knapp has created four original tracks for the Crosstown Rebels imprint. Ten years since first crossing paths with Damian Lazarus, the stars have finally aligned, resulting in the Find Me EP. 

Baby Luck aka Brittany Ballard features on Find Me with her first ever vocal recording. Distinguished for his filthy house cuts, Kevin has a created a deeply charming EP, reinforcing his position within the dance scene. A man of many skills, the US born artist started out by DJing in San Francisco for notorious clubs such as Werd and Housepitality and after relocating to Berlin his career catapulted and a global touring schedule ensued. Always staying true to his sound, Kevin has previously released on Hot Creations, Viva Music, Material and Dirtybird Records among others.
