The next project on the influential No.19 Music is sure to be the start of something very special: it is a label debut from AD/D, an individual with a long history in dance music who is set to go the next level off the back of this stunning debut package. Featuring two standout originals and a pair of remixes from Jonny White under his world famous Art Department guise (thus marking the first music from that
project since it became a solo concern), it is a complete and captivating affair from the Canadian also known as Mario J.

Mario J has already achieved much in the electronic music world, releasing on Tiga’s Turbo Recordings as Milano, on Hawtin and Acquaviva’s Definitive Records and collaborating with DJ Sneak
& Kenny Glasgow, all informed by coming up on the raw warehouse scene of 90s Toronto.

On top of this, he has a long history of throwing his own parties in the city and has shared the decks with the likes of Jeff Mills, Daft Punk, Derrick May and many others. As such, he has a well-informed musical
history that takes in a diverse palette of sounds, scenes and styles from around the world. His connection to Toronto native Jonny White has obvious roots, but it was in fact during the last few seasons in Ibiza that the pair really bonded, throwing a series of exclusive villa parties together and laying plans for the birth of AD/D as a production moniker on White’s No.19 label. The fruit of those plans starts here with a sublime single that is certain to leave its mark.

Amsterdam duo Paris Green, the unlikely partnership of DJ & producer Mitchel Kelly and jazz musician Thijs Bastiaans, make big impressions for their debut release on Crosstown sister label Rebellion with Poker Flat boss Steve Bug in for remix duty. 

The deep and brooding You Got To Try, discovered by Kölsch in his BBC Radio 1 Residency, was created during a jamming session with cohort David Stolk on vocals, singing about loosing sight of dreams due to other people’s expectations.

Ghost is a dancefloor track that’s builds around highly manipulated electric piano keys. Fused with jazz harmonies, exotic sounds and cross-rhythms, the whole track builds to a climax, taking the listener on a deep emotional trip.

German mainstay Steve Bug steps up to the mark with his enriching Sunrise Mix of You Got To Try. In equal measure he delivers a smooth and hypnotic Club Dub primed for the dancefloor. Recently Steve made a welcome return to his 10-year-dormant Traffic Signs alias, began a vinyl-only project with Clé entitled Apes Go Bananas and also a Wax Only series on Poker Flat. He has also released on the label arm of famed Paris club Rex and started an event series called PLAY. After so long in business, it's a testament to Steve's unwavering vision that he and Poker Flat remain at the cutting edge of dance music.

After 20 years in the rhythm of our weekend's heartbeat, it is now time to also share that beat by creating the Muna Music record label. The label will be a platform to release music by friends and musicians who are close to the club. Musically it's about the free cosmos between dub and techno in its natural beauty. 
It all begins with a compilation for the 20th anniversary of Muna. With a fine and small selection of tracks combining the feeling of 20 years at the club. 
The story will continue in the coming months with future exclusive limited edition vinyl releases, which will share some of the more beautiful things in this big bad music business. Of course, we are not reinventing the wheel or trying to change the world but our mission is always to make everything more beautiful !!!
