December 13 sees Bora Uzer’s two track ‘Street Love’ EP get a fresh twist with a trio of dynamite remixers on Nervous Records.

First up is the Berlin-based Bergamo native; Cioz, who has graced the likes of Monaberry, Get Physical, and Stil Vor Talent with his lush melodic sounds. Stepping up in a remix capacity, he has flipped ‘Street Love’ into a stripped-back cut, he blends a mesmerising atmosphere and emotive synth-lines with an irresistible minimal groove.

Diynamic pair Sonickraft kick things up a notch, bringing pure energy to the table in their rework of ‘Magic Kind’. Fusing strands of melodic techno, indie dance and progressive house, the duo have conjured up a hypnotic remix with a distinct nostalgic feel and beautiful use of the original guitar riff from Bora Uzer.

Rising talent Julia Sandstorm follows up her debut on LP Giobbi’s Yes Yes Yes imprint with a pulsating dance floor weapon of her own. She fuses the intoxicating synth-work from the original cut with a rolling groove and a lush set of stabs, closing the package in supreme style.

This time, Yomi One takes things deeper. While most of the tracks follow the wild, driving spirit of the first EP, Water and Blood reveals another side of his sound - slower, dub-influenced, yet still unmistakably acid. It's a continuation, but also an evolution.

Nostalgic yet forward-thinking, raw yet refined. Don't sleep on this one. All tracks are finely crafted and mixed in his lab in Orminge - also known by its informal nicknames Snaketown or Snaketon - in the eastern suburbs of Stockholm

As the Summer draws to a close Serge Devant returns once more to Damian Lazarus’s Crosstown Rebels with the highly infectious ‘This Moment’ EP. Serge original tracks are accompanied by a great Dinky remix, to complete this great package.

Opening up the EP with ‘This Moment’, Devant has created a track that implores the listener to stop and take in all the vibrations, effects and melodies. This is a piece of music that intricately weaves together a hefty bass, curious sounds and an addictive horn. Pay close attention to ‘In Time’ and you will be absorbed once more in an enchanting world where all you can do is follow the rhythm of the drums. On the flip and Dinky adds her signature vocals, and hooky synth stabs creating a deep and textural remix of ‘This Moment’.

Marking the last Crosstown Rebels release of the Summer, Yousef steps into the spotlight with the compelling Vanity featuring entrancing vocals from The Angel. Heavyweight remixes courtesy of Carl Cox, Bontan and Rowee complete the package.

Played for the first time by Damian, Vanity was premiered at Day Zero in January, with videos capturing this moment reaching the three million mark. Originally from Liverpool, Yousef wrote, arranged and produced the track after being inspired by an amicable breakup. " The song is about appreciation of what was once wonderful, it's about not having any regrets, positively exiting a situation with a coy smile, and looking forward to the next chapter of your life ..." Yousef The vocals of long term collaborator The Angel caress the memories of lovers gone in Vanity , whilst the drums and poignant breaks deliver high impact. Switching it up, Yousef returns with his Black & Acid Dub complete with throbbing drums and stripped back vocals. Italian DJ and producer Rowee concludes the release with his hypnotic and ethereal remix.

For ATL014 we head to the sprawling sunny metropolis of LA as talented duo Speaking In Tongues mastermind a stunning 3 tracker, assisted via Buenos Aires with a remix courtesy of Santiago Garcia.

Speaking In Tongues have greated something truly special with 'Passenger' drawing you in from the first bar through a focused 4/4 groove and deep edgey undercurrent, giving a sense the music can erupt at any point. Focus is drawn to the vocal as the intermittent cry of 'Pasajeros' meets crashing resonating percussive beats. The dancefloor moment is sustained by a deep overhead bass bombardment and hypnotic groove that will have you hitting the loop button for repeat plays.

Santiago Garcia provides a dramatic remix, pitching the bpm down to focus on the percussive tribal elements and melodies, letting the stunning 'Passenger' vocals shimmer and take over while giving listeners a a real sense of space.

Uplifting closer 'Twenty Nine Palms' transports listeners to a far off mystic land as Speaking In Tongues weave their sonic patterns through swathes of tasteful analogue sounds, revererating vox and undulating bass over crisp hats.

Speaking In Tongues are Los Angeles House and Techno duo, Miguel Angel and Philip Anthony. The pair have released music on their own label 'Eternal Order' plus the likes of Motek, Clouds Above and Chilli Mint.

The recent Speaking In Tongues remix of Kauf featured on Kölsch's BBC Radio One Residency, and originals like 'Hear Me' featuring Cari Golden have had live plays from Damian Lazarus, Sasha, Lee Van Dowski, Herna'n Catta'neo and BOg.
