As another amazing summer comes to its end, it's time for one final mix before a bittersweet return to reality.  The first episode of Straight from the Source progressed from A major to A minor, quite a journey indeed.  Few roads could be longer than this one, but as leaves begin to fall in this late August, it seems that the wait for our next reunion with the summer sun will certainly be one of them.  

Fortunately, however, time has its cycles, and we can have faith that, eventually, we will make our return.  Music is no different, and this is the theme of this episode of Straight from the Source. Full Circle picks up where A Midsummer Night's Insomnia left off, at A minor with Pendulum's The Island and Tiesto's Take Me, and makes the only move that could represent our patient march to next May: a full run through the Circle of Fifths.  Spanning a variety of moods, the piece ends with the elements it opens with, but rearranged in a brighter context of the Aeolian wheelhouse, with a final say from G major that this will not be our last ride together.

And yes, there is yet another opening quote instead of a DJ name drop.  Not going to make anyone guess this time - it's from Seneca's "On The Shortness Of Life".  Enjoy the mix and have a safe and happy end of Summer :)
