Born and raised in Brixton South London, relocating to Kent after the riots of 1981, Jay currently resides in the fine city of Norwich

Music has always been his first love, growing up in the family household on a diet of rock and roll, ska, Motown and northern soul.
Jay spent many years as the lead singer in a hard rock/metal outfit, touring the UK and all across Europe, but quit due to band politics, being in a band with different personalities and ego’s eventually eating away at the foundations and bringing down the walls!

After a sabbatical Jay has returned with a solo project taking it back to basics with a stripped down track that showcases his songwriting and vocal talents.
Inspired by the tragic events in Ukraine, inequality, a racial and social divide, and a rise in violent crime
Circle of Stone is a call to action for peace love and unity the world over.
