40-something year old songwriter/producer/sound engineer and inventor of Shinystep... My other genres include DNB, Breakbeat, Dubstep, Folk and anything else that I wake up with in my head! I am a BIG Reason Fan!  Have been using and teaching it since version 1.  My love of music is only matched by my love of all things geeky! Hellafied Funk Crew was born in the summer of 1993, the brainchild of California native and veteran rapper Charles Treadwell. His vision to combine hip-hop with a heavy groove, a combination of Parliament Funkadelic and Black Sabbath soon became his mission. His vision became reality when a diverse group of musicians collided in Denver, Colorado. Charles the "Funky W" (Voc's), Kenny James (Drum's), Randy Lodes (Guitar), and Andy Pfeiffer (Bass). T he result was a fusion of rap lyrics, hip-hop loops, and power chord rock that was so unique it could only be classified as Hellafied Funk. After only four live performances, HFC claimed the award for Best New Band in Denver at the coveted Granny Awards, the largest awards event for recognizing talent in the local Colorado music scene. In 1995 the band relocated to Dallas, Texas where they recruited a new bass player and drummer. The Hellafied Funk Crew was: Charles The "Funky W" Treadwell (Vocals), Ryan Alien RP Pyffer (Vocals), Bob Bizzy B Kakaha (Bass), Tsuyoshi The Master Suzuki (Guitar), and Chris Hitman Antonopoulos (Drums). Dubbed the Dream Team as each is a master of their craft individually, the band's chemistry as a unit was rivaled by few. Hellafied Funk Crew's intensity and stage presence created a high energy show that is so infectious they are a guaranteed crowd pleaser at any event. This rock solid quintet had a reputation as being a tough act to follow for even renown national acts. 
   Now,  Charles "The Funky W" Treadwell, is resurrecting the fire once again and rebuilding his HELLAFIED FUNK CREW... Recruiting new soldiers and preparing for order, he plans to reign as still one of the BEST pioneers of the fusion of RAP/ROCK/METAL/INDUSTRIAL/FUNK Genre he has dubbed "HELLAFIED FUNK"... Now, Charles "The Funky W" Treadwell, is resurfacing with a new "CREW"!!! Hence, "THE HELLAFIED FUNK CREW"!!!
