You Care For Me

Victor-J is an African hip-hop artist currently based in Cape Town. He has been actively producing music since 2012 and is known as a frequent participant in various cyphers ranging from The Clash MC events, the Cape Town TV cyphers and the UCT Hip Hop society cyphers.

While growing up Victor had a passion for writing receiving awards for poetry and prose for his participation in competitions such as the National Allied Arts Competition. He would then transfer his passion for writing into music and began releasing music while part of the Cross0ver Music Group in Botswana. On moving to Cape Town he further developed his sound as a solo artist and released the projects Concrete Thoughts (2017) and the Drifter EP (2018) while frequently collaborating with other artists and releasing remixes to his YouTube channel. 

Victor-J aims to create music that inspires and entertains citing Bob Marley as one of his greatest inspirations while drawing artistic influences from artists such as Kanye West and Kendrick Lamar.  

The emcee and producer who describes himself as "something like David with his slingshot" believes in creating music that represents the underdogs and those aspiring to swim against the current and achieve despite the obstacles they face. He has just released a new project titled Every Diamond Will Shine project which is inspired by this concept.

This upcoming Zimbabwean artist Crusader started making music in 2013, producing his first mixtape later that year called Recovery. 

He later released his first EP entitled Blacklisted in 2014 which featured the likes of Courtney Antipas of Zimbabwe and Tony Grammz of Zambia. Within the same year, he was part of an EP which included contemporary gospel music as well as hip-hop entitled King Of All Ages.
