Kaum zu glauben, aber wir haben heute ein ganz besonderes Set für Euch im Koffer. Für uns persönlich ist es ein absolutes Highlight in der 0815Podcast-Reihe. 💯🔊🔊

Wir haben für Euch in Ausgabe 88 den deutsch-mauritischen Techno-DJ und Produzent HardtraX. 🙌😈

Im Jahr 1997 fing HardtraX im Teenager Alter an, seine ersten Erfahrungen mit dem Produzieren von Techno-Musik zu machen.
Nach einer zweijährigen Pause konzentrierte er sich dann auf die Produktion von hartem Underground-Techno und komponierte gelegentlich Hardcore-Tracks. 2001 lernte er Jackhamma kennen und 2002 fingen sie an, gemeinsam zu produzieren und traten als erstes Live-PA-Duo des Genres mit dem Namen "HardtraX vs. Jackhamma" an verschiedenen Orten in Deutschland auf. 🥳🥳

Dies war die entscheidende Zeit, in der HardtraX seine ganz eigene Art von rauem und düsterem Techno-Sound entwickelt hat für den er auch heute immer noch Bekannt ist.

HardtraX hat mehrere dunkle Hardtechno-Alben veröffentlicht ("What I Stand For Speaks For Itself", "The Advocate Of Hate", "Fuel My Temper", "Ballet Of Aggressions", "Rude And Direct", "The Dark Omen", "Bass Creator"...) und liefert auch heute noch einen hohen Output an Produktionen. Heutzutage macht er weiterhin sowohl Solo-DJ-Performances als auch Live-Performances zusammen mit seinem Freund Jackhamma, und das Duo feierte sogar sein 15-jähriges Bestehen mit einer limitierten goldenen CD-Veröffentlichung mit dem Titel "Mean! Hard! Dark! - 15 Years Of HardtraX vs. Jackhamma" im Jahr 2017, die einige ihrer denkwürdigsten Werke enthält. 🥶🥵🥵

In den letzten Jahren konnten wir dann noch auf Knaller-Produktionen von HardtraX zusammen mit O.B.I. und Dunkelkammer gespannt sein.

Carara (@cararamusic) returns in full shape to our label after his brief appearance on our Hologram compilation. For this extended EP, he delivers six cuts of intense and dancefloor oriented techno, no interludes or ambient intro here, just pure juice for your peak time moments.

Along this EP many influences can be perceived, from the rugged beats of Birmingham to the centro European nineties flavors or even some sci-fi techno.

First number is YSP 001, sampled vocals run over a relentless continuous groove spiced with synth details and drones. A true dancefloor burner.

YSP 002 is more complex in the elements, again a continuous but funky foundation and hypnotic synth lines running all over the place.

Third cut YSP 003 goes subtle and sci-fi, with filtered components on the first bars that soon are completed with several percussive layers in an evolving arrangement.

Number four YSP 004, lysergic, and mental but still and playable. You can call it trance if the desired state is that. Special mention to the rhythmic workout and the occasional bleeps.

YSP 005 is maybe the most industrial cut, where Fm sequencers and repetition are the key elements. One more time several percussion layers interleave to create a proper physical exercise.

Last slice YSP 006, here you can perceive some old school vibes, and an illusion of melody over a compact groove. Ideal track for the closing with the club lights on.
