With "Let the Good Times Roll," SoCal Electro/Soul/Funk duo Crush Effect have transformed Earl King's classic "Come On (Let the Good Times Roll)" by incorporating an arrangement of speaker-rattling basslines and buzzing electronic effects. Different from previous covers by Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan, among others, the chorus is soaked in auto-tune and loops as a repetitive mantra atop a plethora of synthesizers, scattered drums, and multi-layered guitar riffs. Debuted at Coachella's Do Lab stage, "Let the Good Times Roll" is being released for free download and for purchase on iTunes, premiering via The Dankles.
