L'OMBLE MALMA
L'Omble Malma is the spawn of Video Artist/Electronic Music Producer Ouananiche
and Jackson Deschamps, former screamer for Czechoslovakian Cock. Leaning
heavily on post-punk influences and sounds with elements of metallic grind and
gothic industrial while maintaining a danceable beat. Lyrically, apocalyptic themes
are explored through the perspective of an aimless gaze; themes of neglect mixed
with lusting anger and nihilistic struggle. The music is hard and driving and keeps
you transfixed.
Live this duo has the energy and feel of a full band and enough power behind their
music to fill the room. L'Omble Malma carry their
audience into an industrial landscape of cathartic escape. A necessary anecdote and
release valve for times of struggle, confusion and misplaced values.
