March 5th 2022, Oaxaca - Mexico, in the middle of an agave field in no-man's land. A festival organized with incredible love and dedication. People who have not come to celebrate themselves, but have come to celebrate together. People who share a passion for music. People who listen actively and not just mindlessly cheer when the fog machine kicks in. People with wonderful outfits. People who expand your horizons, who give you ideas and thoughts along the way. People I will never forget.
I had the honor to DJ during sunrise, a magical moment when the cold of the night was shaken off and everyone was shining in the warm, red light of the morning sun.

Tummetott - Oaxaca Experience 2022 - Mexico

"As a first time burner or virgin (as some would like to say) I couldn't wrap my head around what I was going to experience -  I suddenly found myself in the desert torn between the beauty, adventure, excitement of the place and the abundance that makes such hedonism possible. I couldn't help but wonder if it was really necessary to travel to the desert, a place that can be so hostile to life. And then it caught me after all, the magic that everyone talks about. The Burning Man spirit, the fundamental idea of sharing, the warm-heartedness, the beautiful encounters, the indescribable sunrises, the surreal mountains on the horizon, the many bicycles and an endless sea of LEDs.

The night before my show at Mayan Warrior, I just wanted to take a quick look at the art car and then go to sleep, but when I got there I could not leave. The art car's lasers  were reflected in Michael Benisty's sculpture "Reflection" and colored the surroundings in soft green with periodical flame throwers which lit up the faces of the people. Mandrake was playing an incredibly good set that made the crowd go wild. The art car's majestic warrior like face glowed in the night, watching over the sea of bicycles parked in front of it.

In the morning hours, about an hour after sunrise, I went on stage, tired but happy, and took over the music. I thank the hard-bitten ravers who danced so excessively with me despite the rising heat. It was wonderful.
