BOUNCING

West London’s Crowd Control Collective (CCC), an eight-member mix of artists, are looking to distort the UK’s music scene. Embedded with abstract hip-hop production, the erratic instrumentals are layered with relentless vocal performances from a multitude of vocalists. Their sound, inherently daring and genre-bending, fuses sounds from trap and hyperpop to noise and metal. With a snowball of musical influences such as Death Grips, slowthai and FKA twigs, CCC are looking to blur boundaries in their take on the modern rap scene.
 Their first EP “SUNNY FUNERAL”, released January 2022, is an opening chapter to the collective’s journey. The project consists of five cut-throat tracks, exploring lyrical themes of materialism, misogyny, depression and regret, each sprinkled in satire. The EP primarily showcases three of the members - DEZDOM, Funera1One and Lex Suntane - with features from the rest of the collective. Generating a sold-out release show, the EP has quickly generated traction for CCC in the underground scene. With a performance that mixes raw instrumentation and an uncompromising stage presence, the collective’s live show’s have already proven to encapsulate their name.
