Arguing to the contrary is Give Sodomy A Chance. It was composed by Paul R. Abramson (lyrics), James Cruce (music) and Bobby Pollard (music). It is being performed by Crying 4 Kafka. Paul Abramson (vocals), James Cruce (drums), Paul du Gre (bass), Danny McGough (keyboards), and Bobby Pollard (guitar). It was produced and recorded by Paul du Gre at Paul & Mike’s Studio in Burbank, California, 2022.

It's like a pretty digital love song. Electronic samples weave in and out to add syncopation to the slow beat. Layers of guitar add a nice counter melody to the lead synth creating a depth of harmony. Definitely late night, "cruising in the city" vibes.

I was unwell last night. When I woke up, it was healing to play this piece. I hope you find the piece healing. The title (albeit regretfully not the music) echoes a track title, made by the persistently magical artist, Van Morrison. I drew the title of the piece from a very different piece of the same name made by Van Morrison (from his album Poetic Champions Compose). Always credit other artists (for any influence they brought to bear) even if the music itself is different. In the extremely unlikely event the great man ever hears this piece, I hope he will not mind that I drew from his beautiful work for the purpose of naming this improvised piece.

Did ye get healed

Sleeping Dogs tells a tale as old as time, reminiscing on a love lost that never got the chance to be, over a richly textured bed of guitars, electric piano and synthesisers, before coming to a head with an emotionally-charged guitar solo. The song conjures moments seared into memory, wishes clung to desperately, and regretfully relinquished - nostalgia given form.

Lunging headfirst into 2024, Skunkadelic teams up with producer Abstract Soundz (Eva Lazarus, Sanity, Da Fly Hooligan) for a brand new strictly hiphop excursion.
‘Pressure’ is about just that; the frenetic, haphazard pace of 21st century life and its effect on someone’s mental and physical wellbeing. It’s an earnest self appraisal of his recent life exploits and the eager anticipation of a brighter future. The lyrics tackle the age old struggles of stress “a cold killer” and a propensity for self loathing, both fundamental facets of the human experience but rarely handled with such a combination of candor and grit.
Whereas previous single ‘No Time’ forged afrobeat with electro, here we encounter Skunkadelic in his most familar territory - focused, driven, boombap, jazz rap refrains galvenising the confidence and sincerity of his message.
