Far below the abandoned subway stations and sewers our reality collapses as tunnels turns to labyrinths and ritual halls where ancient cults chant in the dark. And deeper still, old civilizations of insectoid guardians and biomechanical priests guard outwordly artifacts and passageways to the ancient city.

Here roam the forgotten gods whom the unfortunate dwellers of the dark worship.

Here roam the hybrid creatures forged in the Machine City as its decaying birthing chambers cry for human eggs and seminal fluids.

Here the gates to the ancient city opens momentarily into the eternal labyrinth if you'd be unwise enough to visit...

This 15 track soundtrack by Atrium Carceri was composed for the Narrative Philosophical game "The Old City". Soothing string like atmospheres, distorted drones and brooding atmospheres carry the listeners throughout the album.

Across vast domains of gold and ash, the eternal vigil continues: an inexhaustible testament to what endures when all else turns to dust.

3 veteran producers in the genre, Apocryphos, Kammarheit & Atrium Carceri, collaborate on this behemoth of an album. Each utilizing each others strengths to bring forth a dark and emotional ride through distant memories. 

Onyx is a soundscape journey related to the reflection of dispirited memories and obscure sorrows felt by mankind. With the multitude of techniques used by each artist, it also reflects the rich history of the dark ambient genre and how it has progressed through the decades. 

The signature analogue darkness of gargantuan caves of Kammarheit is combined with the sacral and emotional layering of Apocryphos and the rhytmical bass throbbing and isolated pianos of Atrium Carceri. 

This album was created by cross linking 3 studios in Oregon (US), Pennsylvania (US) and Umeå(Sweden). It took over 3800 lines of studio notes to finalize the album.

Mount Shrine (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) serves us a warm and inviting ambient album. 

Rain pounds the temple as you look out across snowy mountains from a lotus position. A wet furred hare seeks refuge beside you, curious about the kettle of hot tea that rests at your side. 

A distress call led you here, transmitted to a frequency on your Ham radio. The journey here was long and filled with majestic sights. Isolated villages, melting snow in forgotten valleys, the robed order of the silent all calmed your mind. The rolling fog followed you every step of the way to enlightenment. 

Recommended for lovers of subtle field recordings and sleep ambient. Warm, inviting and atmospheric. Best enjoyed with a cup of hot beverage on a rainy day.
