For centuries, the shore dwellers have practiced their rituals in appeasement of the eldritch legions of the deep. The gods of tempests are summoned to stay their wrath. The gods of precious boons are petitioned to provide fish and plunder for the tribal enclaves. The gods of the shimmering tides are beckoned for the gifts they proffer of golden glistening.

Shore Rituals contemplates the enigmas of the sea and brings a world of oceanic mysteries to the threshold of our understanding.

The raindrops slither on the window like translucent snakes. Refracted palpitations from the high-rise outside throw glittering light into the murk of your apartment. You down two tabs of hypodust as you exit the double-bolted door. The apartment building lies silent but for the faint piano notes spilling down from the penthouse far above. Most inhabitants are long gone since the Arcology went bankrupt. The hallway lies dark—another blackout, since no one services the building anymore. Time moves slow in the skeletal interior. Where once dreams were projected onto reality, the only dreams worth living now are of the sleeping kind. And so the hypodust hits, breaking you out of one slumber, only to cast you into another.

Crypthios debuts on Cryo Chamber with the album Vestigium. This layered and intricate album of soothing and textural movements depict a post apocalyptic world that is peacefully lonely but with brooding undertones.

You must have hit your head pretty hard while escaping New City, the last remaining city of man. You hardly remember the journey on the raft that carried you across the raging sea to the shores of the graylands. Massive structures of bronze and stone swept the barren landscape. Some serving as tunnels entrances leading into underground halls, where archaic machines were still whirring and beeping in the massive network. The deep sub level labyrinth stretched endlessly, bird like creatures cried in the distance. You found logbooks and warning signs, bio hazard warnings next to old dusty hazmat suits. Deeper still in the maze you uncovered the carvings of former inhabitants upon stone obelisks, prophetizing the fall of man and the end of times. After weeks in the maze, you finally stumble upon a recent journal entry, someone else is alive down here!

5 ambient artists join forces to delve deep into druidic history. 

The chant of the ceremony swells beyond walls of wet stone. Your bare feet on red sand peak out of cloudy robes. 
Figures sway among the pillars of the stone circle. Their song spirals up towards the night sky. 

The stars move in pulsating patterns and combine to form the bird of light. It swoops down from it's celestial home to push it's claws into the red soil, it stares into your soul before it put it's head under it's wing and drowns in the sand. A tiny finger cymbal echo between the pillars as the voices die down. The figures are gone, only their empty robes left behind. You stand alone under a night sky drained of stars, pure black. 

Druidic chanting and deep walls of sound lends a cavernous atmosphere to Tomb of Druids.

ProtoU - Eyes of the Shaman

It has been ten years since the last communications were received from the Deep Space Mission for Colonial Expansion led by Executive Director Professor Yannis Tarknassus. The outcome of the mission remains a mystery, its status unknown. A follow up mission of search and recovery is now underway, led by Dr Phoenix Macrae, son of the Chief Science Officer of the previous mission, Dr Hector Macrae.

Interplanetary chronicles the search and recovery mission as it travels through space to its intended destination of Proxima Centauri b in the Alpha Centauri star system.

Deep space travel requires extreme technologies and the specialised deployment of unique scientific principles in order to secure time-bending relative motions though the spacetime continuum. The effects of this on the human cerebrum, as experienced by the space flight crews and their passengers, are both strange and compelling. As part of the scientific remit of the search and recovery mission, a team of scientists are conducting ground-breaking telekinetic thought-rendering experiments, using Phoenix Macrae as their principal subject matter, in an attempt to catalogue the collateral impact of deep space travel on the human psyche.

Interplanetary also documents several radical spacetime shifts where the phantasmagoria of Ruptured World is infiltrated by the explosive cyberpunk energy fusions of In Quantum.

For fans of space ambient, cosmic horror, cyberpunk and spoken word.

So good people ye, lock up your windows, bracen your doors and be safe on this night, for all is not well. All is not well"
The Crier's words hung heavy in the early eve. Shutters were closed and the townsfolk scattered to their homes as empty beggars' hands withdrew to the gutter leaving the once bustling crooked cobblestone streets now but a desolate spiral of gas lit flicker and elongated shadows.

Beyond the Ghost presents his first album in the Europa Series, a futuristic, bleak and moving sound voyage that merges electronics and acoustics.

BERLIN, the year is 2060. The whole of Europe is fraught with sickness and poverty and tensions are arising between the remaining populations.  Resources are low, war is imminent. The streets are cold and lonely.  The shining sun has become a notion of the distant past. Every day feels darker than the next. The people who are left stay locked inside, fearing for their lives. There is nothing left to do but wait out the inevitable doom. An old club called 'The Last Resort' is one of the only places that’s still open. There, a few brave and lonely souls gather together to drink the night away to the woeful tunes of the house band. Between sets, a broken alert system in the streets can still be heard, blasting out remnants of news that don't make sense anymore, like echoes of foreign voices lost in transmission. Against all odds, a few letters of the club's neon light still flicker on and off, illuminating the patrons' faces, their expressions hanging heavy with loss and pain. Few words are exchanged, and yet their devout presence during such times makes us wonder:  will they accept their defeat or will they fight for a better future? But for now, they are only focused on making it safely home after the last call, their heads hung low, their feet shuffling through the darkness, humming to the sounds they just heard, to mourn the loss of one more day during these sorrowful and suspended times.

Recommended for fans of noir, melancholy and molotov cocktails.
