Scorpio V from Serbia presents us with Metatron Omega, a dark ambient project inspired by a variety of Eastern/Western esoteric and religious traditions. Massive choir works paints a picture of dilapidated cathedrals crumbling under the pressure of time. Sacred vocal work speaks of the path to enlightenment to a backdrop of textural field recordings and monestarial reverberations.

I learned a lot from the American/Canadian industrial and electronic scenes and the American British and French metal scenes, specifically the French death metal and American Black Metal and Sludge scenes. I grew up classically trained only for a very short time so I had to really start from scratch at learning instruments. Natalie Perdu on the other hand, is the effortlessly flowing and soaring vocalist whose training shines through. Everything you hear we worked hard to figure out how to do, and like to think we are getting progressively  better. I am a French-speaking metal bassist at heart,  obsessed with Industrial programming.  Natalie is a multi-talented multi-disciplined chanteuse as well as a lifelong student of the art of music, currently pursuing her graduate degree,with an equal interest in industrial music.
