"A la recherche du temps perdu" No. 3 - "Le Côte de Guermantes" - performed by pianist Ellen Cunningham Weaver, USA, on a Schimmel Grand Piano (https://soundcloud.com/ellen-w-1).

"Time" is the main theme of "A la recherche du temps perdu", inspired by the amazing book "In search of the lost time" by Marcel Proust. We live in "fast times", we are "stressed", and we all are longing for the "temps perdu", when life was slower, more down tempo. So the pieces in this series, called after the chapter titles of Proust´s book, are very slow, very accentuated, very expressive. Both listeners and pianists should take their time, to play and listen, as a short break from "normal times"...

Ellen recorded all 7 pieces of the series " A la recherche du temps perdu" and 4 pieces of the new "Adveniat" series. Both series are very contemplative, and Ellen´s masterful interpretations accentuate this character so well. We are sure you will enjoy our new "pure piano" Album!

Formed in 2011, Cryosonica is the creation of Adam Prior and Elliot Hockley. While studying for BA (Hons) in Music Production, their ideas and productivity needed an outlet away from University requirements.

Developing their own unique, sample-based software instruments, the Cryosonica brand was born and evolved into a company providing sound design, composition and post production.
