Within the past twelve years, Detroit’s Andrea Ghita has facilitated a space for women in a once male-dominated industry. A daughter of Romanian immigrants, Ghita forges a sound attributed to her heritage, integrated with house, acid, disco, and breakbeats.

Ghita has held residencies with several of the most renowned  dance music venues in Detroit. In recent years, she has been personally curating events ranging from swanky cocktail soirées, to the lively late-night function. With her production flaunting groovy bass-lines and hypnotic melodies, Ghita has made her mark as a dance-floor dominator in the underground community.

Electronic music inspired by modern machines and various music styles including pop, synth wave, techno, hip hop, rap, 80's, electro, post punk, minimal, dark wave and many others.
