When an object in space moves toward us it's light waves are compressed into higher frequencies or shorter wavelengths, and we say that the light is blueshifted. When an object moves away from us, it's light waves are stretched into lower frequencies or longer wavelengths, and we say that the light is redshifted. The light from most objects in the Universe is redshifted as seen from the Earth. Only a few objects, mainly local objects like planets and some nearby stars, are blueshifted. This is because our Universe is expanding. The redshift of an object can be measured by examining the absorption or emission lines in its spectrum. These sets of lines are unique for each atomic element and always have the same spacing. When an object in space moves toward or away from us, the absorption or emission lines will be found at different wavelengths than where they would be if the object was not moving (relative to us). The change in wavelength of these lines is used to calculate the objects redshift. Redshift is defined as the change in the wavelength of the light divided by the wavelength that the light would have if its source was not moving (called the rest wavelength). 

Redshift = (Observed wavelength - Rest wavelength)/(Rest wavelength)

Here it is guys! Out now on the Tracked Label is the wonderful compilation "Fright Club". Raising the dead everywhere to throw a massive dance party, Pain Perdu have mashed up MJ's Thriller and the Ghost busters theme into a banging funky Electro Game Boy tune. I hope you remember the steps!

So, Omelette was basically drawn into existence by an artist who completely misinterpreted Eggman's upside-down sprite in a particular boss in Sonic Mania. Later, the misinterpretation exploded with popularity... And now we have this.

Hello, SoundCloud! This is my SMPS remake of Omelette's Theme, made by the one and only @wormsounds-1! This is a pretty kick-ass tune, and I just had to remake it into an SMPS.

IT’S FINALLY HERE. I know that like nobody keeps up with these, but this project has been in the works for about four to five months, mostly due to procrastination. Turns out that FL Studio is a lot better than uh. Mobile Garageband. (The ending is made in FL.) But hey, here I am with the track that’s going to drive the rest of my minutes off this account, with 24 minutes of mashing! This is probably going to be the final one, unless i can somehow come up with something that’s not boring and something longer, so yeah.

This is an original punk rock track that interpolates the Wii Sports bowling end theme by Kazumi Totaka. It is an ode to one of my holy grails: Achieving the ultimate score in Wii Sports bowling. I managed to get a 298 last year, but my dreams are still alive, and I hope that the rockin' riffs of this track fuel your own adventures at the lanes!
