In the vibrant heart of West Alameda, California, amid the buzz of Buena Vista, a young Latino named Jess Pulgarian—nicknamed “Breeze” by his crew—grew up tuned to the rhythms of his surroundings. The streets sang in acid techno beats, hyphy hip-hop anthems, and whispers from the underground. They didn’t just play music—they became music.

Jess didn’t chase music. Music chose him. He remixed his environment, turning salvaged electronics into beat machines, blending hip-hop storytelling with futuristic synths until he birthed a sound that was utterly original. This love for tech and tunes fused into cyberpunk hip-hop—a collision of urban grit and sci-fi sonics.

Through tough times and long nights, he stayed locked in. Odd jobs, scraped savings, and a second-hand laptop kicked off what would become an underground rise. As “Glazzes,” he electrified late-night sets in raw club spaces, spreading his sound across SoundCloud and TikTok. His tracks hit with rawness and finesse—and listeners took note.

But fame brought new trials: the need to evolve, the dance between creativity and industry pressure. Jess never wavered. Change was a catalyst, not a compromise. Through collaboration and fearless experimentation, he kept building.

Now known as “Bionix,” Jess continues to redefine boundaries. He’s built a career rooted in sonic innovation and community impact—supporting his family, uplifting others, and refining the beat every step of the way. His next goal? Launch workshops in Alameda that pass on his journey to rising creatives.
