Born in the depths of the New York City underground club setting, she has always strived for that special hard note in her work. Whether it’s music or fashion, Crystal has decided to make it her mission to erase that firm yet jagged line between queer culture and rave culture. Her colourful display of art doesn’t invite the listeners or audience to think of childish epitaphs or picturesque environments, her aesthetics are an aggressive yet vibrant clash of cultures, communities, gender and arts. The more acidic her contrast may appear, the deeper the notion, the message, the dogma.
