Formed in late 2006 by Gabriella (Gabee-vocals) and Csaba (Csabee-guitars,

composing), in hope of creating a slightly heavier, yet melodic approach in the female

fronted metal world. 

 In 2008 they recorded their first debut album and spent the year to send 

promos to various online and printed Metal/Gothic magazines, and record labels around the 

world with the intention to help them find a record deal and let the media know about the 

new name, VelvetSeal. The response from the media has been extremely positive, and the 4 

track promo of Lend Me Your Wings has been reviewed by various magazines / 

webzines from DE /USA/UK/NL /MEX /FR; rating them very positively. 

 In 2009 the band managed to raise the attention of various labels, magazines 

webzines around Europe and the fans of the genre have very well acclaimed their music. This

all together earned the band a record deal with a fresh but dedicated Label, Dark balance 

records (NL), which finally led to the release of Lend Me Your wings in May 2009. 

VelvetSeal has been featured in most of the magazines/Webzines across Europe on

full page interviews, in magazines like MindView, (BE) Zillo (DE) and Orkus, (DE), Sonic Seducer

(DE) Metal Hammer, and more then 100 online magazines across Europe. 

 Since the release of their debut, the band has played on a number of international 

festivals supported international acts and shared stage with bands like Leave’s eyes, Sirenia,

Elis, Stream of Passion on the Beauty and the Beast tour in Budapest. 

The bands first European tour is scheduled for 2010 spring, with gigs in UK/CH/ DE /FR,

additionally, they have been invited to co-headline the Spider’s web Goth Fest with 

Lahannya in Bristol on March 2010 and to perform on one of this year’s Fear Dark Festival.
