After their debut single Swimming, which was released by Eskimo Recordings, Aussie duo Holy Models return with their highly anticipated 2nd EP, Lessons which will be released on the 15th June through High Above The Ground. With a delicate bass-line, ethereal atmosphere and deep underlying vocals, "Lessons" takes you on a trip through space. The single is also accompanied by four remixes. Mighty Mouse (1/2 Du Tonc) brings the track directly to the dance-floor with his high-energy remix, while Falcon Punch (USA) adds a blissful & euphoric touch. FINAL DJS (Germany) introduce a pop flavor to the table by combining catchy vocal hooks with a consistent & memorable synth lead. Evan Michael (@evvnmichael) is a name well known throughout Brooklyn's dance and indie music communities. Having previously been the marketing director at Williamsburg mainstay Cameo, and then later part of the team at Good Room, Evan has booked countless local and international artists.

Evan is also a producer, specializing in midtempo house cuts designed to sound just as good on the dancefloor as they do on a sandy shore. Over the last two years he has released music on Moodgadget and Drumpoet Community. 

Now, as we crest the June solstice, Evan returns with a three-tracker for Cascine's singles label that's both thoughtful and in control. Anchored by tracks "Slept For Weeks" and "Can't Think So" the EP perfectly captures the burnt edges of mid summer in the city.

A fresh remix by James Curd of "Floating," the latest single from Brooklyn based singer, songwriter, and producer Mattie Safer. The former singer/bassist for The Rapture comes back strong with a new track he made with Filip Nikolic (Poolside/Turbotito) that blends the classic feeling of New York's Paradise Garage with a modern electronic sound. With this remix James picks up the pace and turns up the funk, elevating the track into an even higher soulful stratosphere.

The fourth release on Safer's Dream City Sounds imprint, "Floating (Remixes)" brings three strong mixes from James Curd, NEWBODY, and Borussia and should be a staple of your playlists and DJ bags.  "Floating (Remixes)" is out August 18th.
