Therefore, I felt it necessary to contribute with a composition that encourages hopeless soul to believe that a better world is possible. After cultivating my handle on classical music for years, this piece goes beyond the confines of orchestral music to emphasize the beauty of choral music, exploring the essence of hope, harmony and moving music.

'Eunoia' (meaning: beautiful thinking) is sung, arranged and played on nyckelharpa by Marianne Lihannah.
The melody is an old German folk tune. (Ich stund an einem Morgen)
The lyrics by Marianne Lihannah and Anon.

I fell in love with this song with Swedish lyrics  (Hemlig stod jag en morgon) and learned that initially. After getting inside the Swedish text I realized I couldn't make myself record that kind of story.
I began to research the song and discovered that it originally had German words (Ich stund an einem Morgen), with a completely different story from the Swedish version. 

Because I loved the old folk tune so much, I decided to re-write the lyrics completely and arrange it for nyckelharpa.

Zeitgeist, or the spirit of the times, is a neo-classical piece with a trip-hop beat. Long, low strings create the "big screen" character, while a melody plays short strings and piano, providing depth and pressure. Zeitgeist was composed to add dimension to stories dealing with major events, politics, crises, and, more broadly, public life.

My third entry into this project. With this one, I wanted to go more towards a calmer and consistent feel, tranquil but majestic. 
I think just sound and mixing-wise, this one is better than Frozen Meadows - the timing and tempo inconsistencies however drive me crazy in this one. 
I deliberately spent much less time in the tempo track, trying to fix all timing issues directly in the MIDI but obviously, that didn't turn out quite so well - a lesson I have hopefully learned by now...

The next piece is hopefully going to be my most consistent of all the music I have created thus far. Don't quite know what it's gonna be, but I wanna stray a bit from my formula and make something unlike the last two.
And maybe I'll get lucky and can say that in the end, it is as Elder Scrolls-y as ever, more timing consistent than all my other works before and has a mix that is something I won't be able to distinguish from a professional piece of music.

Kinda skeptical on that last one, but I'm gonna try my damn hardest anyway :P
But first, I want to turn my attention towards this new horror-apocalypse project I started and the new journey into TSFH-ish epic music. Fingers crossed...

A song that gets under your skin.

“Feel with me” is more than just music - it is an invitation to feel with all your senses. Reýem takes the listener on a deeply emotional journey: Soft sounds open the piece and lead gently into a world of sound in which feeling and sound become one.

As the piece progresses, powerful basses and the insistent plucking of the guitar unfold - they reveal what would otherwise remain hidden and make every moment intensely tangible. Every note is filled with sensuality and depth, carried by an atmosphere that hovers between fragility and power.

Inspired by a night in Morocco's desert, 'Dust in the Wind' evokes a desert storm through a rich palette of flute techniques. Fluttering textures, breathy tones, and sharp bursts of air recreate the escalating intensity of the wind. As the storm fades, the piece gently returns to serene tranquility.
