When it comes to a mix packed full of variety and technicality, Sheppa aka @samhearn_ came through with a madness for SOLITUDE Guest Mix Series 015 🔥 

The 18 year old Brighton based DJ started mixing just over a year ago, but his blends could suggest otherwise. Immersing himself in the culture and finding inspiration from the likes of @djoneman and @sherelle, the up and coming selector throws a variety of genres, effects and structural tones into one big hefty guest mix pie. 

Placing og acapellas over duppy breaks and drums, Sheppa’s nod to the grime scene has been shown before, most notably when he put his stamp on a guest mix for Bristol based 140 collective @cunchmag. 

After playing his first live set at Brighton’s hub of underground electronic music @patterns just a few weeks ago, he’s ready to hit the clubs, weaponise the mixer and shut down the dance floor.

You can catch him next at his own curated event: Heard Immunity at @greendoorstore where he’s joined by a selection of young DJs, spinning the finest in garage, grime, jungle, house and future beats. Tickets are nearly sold out so if you’re in the area on the 25th of July be sure to cop one and pull through. 

Over the next year we can expect to see some production from Sheppa, aswell as making his mark as a respected name in the electronic DJ’ing and radio scene.
