There is a climactic progression in the first three releases by R&B artist GETOVERHER that culminates in his latest album, NOTHING 2 OFFER. He finds answers to the questions about love and intimacy that are posed by both his debut, BLACKWATCHSAD and his second project ANAVY BLUE EP. GETOVERHER casts himself as a hopeless romantic born and raised in New York City. Organically inducted into the culture of the music business via his Baptist church choir roots as an adolescent which led to LaGuardia Performing Arts High School opening the floodgates to Manhattan’s grown and sexy nightlife for well over a decade. His new album NOTHING TO OFFER is an evolution of these ideas. If his first two collections were love letters to his past, this new album is dedicated to the present; an ode to himself and the lessons he’s learned. The music video for standout track “Dumb Dumb,” (filmed by 10ille, edited by Johan Chiriboga) captures the vibrant energy of the Caribbean’s seductive dancing, hearty food, and peaceful shores. On GETOVERHER’s first trip to Hellshire Beach in Portmore, Jamaica, he turned to GLDN EYE to add his signature dancehall-style drum programming to this track, originally composed by Virginia Beach’s own Justo Ontario. Attached to the release is a range of original high production value to DIY visuals that help bring everything to life on NOTHING 2 OFFER.
A cast of the early SoundCloud and 2012 music blog era’s finest DJ/producer/remixers are featured on this album. Think XLR8R meets Palms Out Sounds meets Live For Funk meets Traunts meets Boiler Room all in their “free download” prime. Behind the boards of NOTHING 2 OFFER are Salva, Mess Kid, Helix, Mokona, Different Sleep, Mel DeBarge, Jack Inslee, Hasan Insane and more. The album’s two lead singles, “Dumb Dumb,” production credits above, and “Zero Chance,” produced by Bok Bok of Night Slugs, introduce an evolution in his sound and creative influences.

Antagonize is a multidisciplinary artist born and raised in the Philippines, now based in Melbourne/Naarm where he migrated at the age of 14. Today, he is respected as one of the leaders of the Melbourne/Naarm Krump Scene, which he has been a part of since 2008.

Antagonize eventually pursued how to DJ in 2017, through a competition called “Your Shot”, where he learned the basic fundamentals of mixing.

Today, he has played in various iconic venues and events around Melbourne such as Section 8, Horse Bazaar, Whitehart Bar, Royal Melbourne Hotel (Bourke St. Courtyard), Electric Bar, Let’s Vibe and TLP: The Listening Party. 

You’ll find Antagonize playing some of the most genre bending flips and edits and with influences from Hip Hop, R&B, Future Beats, House and other fresh sounds from mainstream and underground artists
around the world.

He continuously invests time and energy to work on his craft including learning the culture and history of DJing. He aspires to participate in DJ battle events and other well known music festivals in the near future.
