Without formal music training or education, Caspar has developed a distinctive sound that breaks conventional music theory rules, resulting in compositions that feel refreshingly unbound by tradition.
Originally starting his production journey on Soundtrap, Caspar has since transitioned to LMMS (Linux MultiMedia Studio), embracing the freedom and possibilities of this open-source digital audio workstation. This evolution in his production approach coincides with his growing artistic vision and desire to create more complex soundscapes.
Heavily influenced by industrial rock pioneers Nine Inch Nails, Caspar's latest project "The Frayed" showcases his darker, more experimental tendencies while maintaining an accessible emotional core. The album reflects both his musical inspirations and his experience navigating adolescence in the digital age—themes of isolation, creative expression, and finding connection in a disconnected world permeate his work.
Beyond music production, Caspar is also an accomplished digital artist and photographer, utilizing a Canon EOS R100 to capture striking visuals that complement his sonic creations. "My isolation has become my greatest creative strength," Caspar explains. "Without friends or collaborators telling me what sounds 'right' or 'wrong,' I've developed something that's purely my own expression."
