Like a blossoming mind-fungus, the microtextual world of upsammy hums with the uncanny seepage of the organic. Effortlessly blending translucent tones and funky rhythms, the Amsterdam artist creates a natural groove that flows through different speeds of spatial vibes and dreamy soundscapes. Collaborating with visual artist Jonathan Castro in many of her live shows, they craft psyched-out landscapes, playing with contradictions of comfort and solitude. These are beautiful companion pieces to her ephemerally-hitting DJ sets, drawing from trippy experimental DnB and offbeat techno.
