UBUNTU - The Heart Of The Motherland Session

With Into Me See, I have ventured into different genres rather than my main style of afro and tribal house.

An eclectic mix that spans the complexities & simplicities of intimacy, passion, love, & lust. 

From the lows of heartbreak, the highs of being in love, the depths of relationships, all the ways people show up in relationships or situationships, and differences between love and lust.

Into me see is about exploring the inner landscape of the human experience and finding the divinity within what may seem otherwise divine.

I have mixed this session with different effects to heighten the emotion and intensity of certain tracks.

Last but not least, there is an Angie Stone track in my mix. I wanted to honor her recent passing and great legacy she has left behind with her soulful voice and smooth tracks.

I got nostalgic.

We just cannot forget the classics. They are in the past, but the past always brings us to the present. The 90’s saw me forever in the clubs – it was about the music and the vibes. Times were different then, and so was music. 

Trance and a lot of the genres we have today were not really a widely known genre at the time and EDM was not called EDM – it was simply dance or techno. 

These tracks have me with some fond and not so fond memories. Many late nights that spilled into very long weekends of partying and debauchery, but these are some of the things that sustained me.

 For those that remember and lived the 90’s -  let’s rave!
