As the '90s nostalgia wave hits peak levels in 2025—baggy jeans, checkered patterns, and that raw energy everywhere—I knew it was time to bring back real ska-punk worship. "God is so Good" is exactly what I designed: a blistering, horn-driven live cut that feels like it jumped straight out of the third-wave era, full of skank guitars, thunderous drums, brass blasts, and total crowd chaos.
I crafted the whole vibe and structure to pack deep biblical truth into high-energy bars—"Before the timeline dropped, He already existed / No cap, self-sufficient, Trinity straight gifted"—covering creation, the cross, atonement, redemption, all of it. The chorus is built to be an anthem you can't help but shout: "God is so good, uncreated light / Turning darkness to sight," with those "Hey!" calls that pull everyone in.
That bridge is my favorite part—horns absolutely going off, the crowd roaring "Worthy the Lamb" straight out of Revelation. I kept the production raw and bootleg-style on purpose: real crowd noise, ad-libs, pure unpolished joy of believers losing it together.
In a world full of super-slick worship tracks, I wanted something loud, fun, doctrinally solid, and made for moving. With ska blowing up again and retro vibes ruling everything, this feels like the perfect moment.

A heavyweight Motswako reimagining.

This remix is a tribute to Jabba Man (HHP) — the legend who shaped an entire era of South African hip hop, the voice that held down Maf-Town, and a brother I had the honour of meeting before the world crowned him.

Back in the day, I crossed paths with HHP a few times in Maf-Town before his rise, and years later we linked again at a gig in Vryburg (the cover when I showed him AKA's reaction to the remix) where I dropped a wild “Run Jozi” remix that shook the room (and apparently shook AKA too 😅). Jabba laughed, showed love, and told me, “Ke teng… hit me up when you have something solid.”

This remix is me finally answering that call. Pity it took way to long to come out, RIP my brother, life was lifing and not in a good way. This is for the culture. For HHP. For every kid who grew up on Motswako and felt the ground shake when the bass dropped.
