Ander Mac (aka Alexander Mac) is an independent underground rapper and producer raised in the Bay Area, California. He began producing beats and writing songs at the age of thirteen and continues to do so eleven years later in 2021. As a mid-90's adoptee from Siberia, Russia, Ander found himself lost in identity and drawn to making music for the simple purposes of healing, growing, and learning about himself as an individual; he wants to share his perspectives with the world through sound. 
 
Ander began releasing his demos on SoundCloud in 2017 and by January 2021, he had completed recording and rebranding his track collection into six full-length mixtapes. His portfolio now consists of more than one-hundred unique songs in total, including his most popular being Afraid of the Dark (produced by Ander Mac himself). His sixth mixtape Neon dropped in February 2021, representing a more colorful side of his Alter Ego. 
 
In March that same year, Ander began working on his seventh mixtape, Who I Am, featuring twenty tracks in remembrance of the 2020 year. Alter Ego, the first and only track on the project to be produced by Ander himself, showcases a cinematic approach similar to his past productions.  He is gearing up for the mixtape to drop in July 2021. Stay tuned, ребята, for this is only the beginning of Ander's story...
