NYC producer Sweater Beats is our current obsession. Having already earned respect for lo-fi bootlegs of Ciara's I'm Out and Mariah Carey's Touch My Body, the young gun has even dropped a banging single on Bondax's Justus label. 

For his debut EP, the king of "making beats that make your booty bounce" has ditched the samples in favour of vocalists with a vibe. Ahead of the game, treat yourself to this exclusive full length version of Do It For Me, the first track from his That Feel EP, due to drop tomorrow via Symbols Recordings. This music is a mix of fun/bouncy and nostalgic. The first half feels upbeat, and the second half is more emotional and serious. It’s a love track for the ones who found love when they least expected it.

The glittery flute melody, the drawn out synths, and the high-pitched keys arpeggiating in the background add a depth to “Opia” that gives it a timeless and personal feel. Needless to say that this track leaves us an emotional mess.

Shateish is a soulful blues R&B singer from Portsmouth, Virginia which is home to many legends great like Ruth Brown, Ella Fitzgerald, Missy Elliot and Nicole Wray. Shateish has paired her commanding powerful vocals with Grammy award music producer Nottz vehement beats to conceive a unique and dynamic Hip-Hop Blues vibe on her introductory E.P. Throughout her vocation, she has been featured on several Nottz underground classic productions that add to her discography including such songs as "Still Here" by Scarface, "Bloody Moon" by The Game, ”How Many Tears?” by Nottz presents: DMP featuring Pusha-T and “Truth” by Blu & Nottz, Shateish decided to step into the past on this EP to bring back a Unforgotten legendary whom music never saw the limelight in the late 60s and 70s, Ruby Johnson was a fervent R&B singer from North Carolina and Virginia border that was once sign to Stax/Volt Records, the label in-house producers was unable to achieve a breakout hit single to match Ruby Johnson supreme vocal during the rise of the soul era which ultimately led to her release from the label roster. Shateish feel in her heart that Ruby unfinished sound deserved to be heard with the most highly respect. Therefore Shateish have decided to dedicated The Re-Awakening EP to the late Ruby Johnson.

Desert Trax is thrilled to bring fans a star-studded remix pack for ”Saraswati's Twerkaba,” the smash lead track from Desert Dwellers' Clear Path compilation, which was originally released in 2016 by Sofa Beats. The exotically innovative original from Amani Friend and Treavor Moontribe sees the Desert Dwellers blending their signature downtemple dub sounds with global club flavors. It was inspiration enough to draw in a wide range of remixers amped to take on the task. 

French guitarist and glitch sensation CloZee joined forces with LuSiD for an earthy, percussive take. Southern California bass legend David Starfire  leaned more into the clubby side of the yoga twerk track. Mindex and Landswitcher both went dark and dangerous on their respective remixes, pulling heavily from the subsonic sampling and fearlessly pushing the track into the cavernous abyss. Patiently building from mild murmur to full on twisted roar, Nanosphere stretches Saraswati into a psy opus. Israeli sensation TRIBONE stripped the cut down all the way to its primal, midtempo stomp, and there is no doubt his take will turn dance floors loose with its relentless pulse. 

The “Saraswati's Twerkaba” remix pack features 8 tracks with 40+ minutes of music and is available July 17th on all major sites worldwide.
