A Tokyo-based DJ, his DJ style is strongly influenced by the “Re-edit” culture that has been handed down since the early days of dance music, the “Disco Dub” movement that emerged in the 1990s, and the alternative disco that followed it.
The moderately twisted acid synthesizers lured the audience into a comfortable swamp, and the core piercing kicks and backing hi-hats increased the tension on the floor.
In 2022, the underground collective WORTHWHILE will release “Bowie Knife, Steps, Chewbags” a mini-album inspired by a 90s film set in the Mojave Desert.
東京を中心に活動するDJ。彼のDJスタイルは、ダンスミュージック聡明期から脈々と受け継がれるリエディット文化と1990年代に勃興した“Disco Dub”ムーブメント、それに追随するように生まれたオルタナティブディスコに強く影響を受けているという。
適度にねじれたアシッドシンセサイザーがオーディエンスを心地よい沼へと誘い込み、体の芯に刺さるキックと裏打ちハイハットの抜き差しがフロアの緊張感を高め、木霊するボーカルディスコが緊張感を解放したかと思うと、高湿度のフロアが多幸感に包まれる。
2022年にアンダーグラウンドコレクティブWORTHWHILEから、モハーヴェ砂漠を舞台にした90年代映画から着想を得たミニアルバム ”Bowie Knife, Steps, Chewbags” をリリースする。
