This is a remake of Heaven Says that I made to learn more mixing-related stuff. mainly guitars. 
The overall vibe of this version was based on the cover that https://soundcloud.com/hievery made and https://soundcloud.com/thejoker's cover of Laugh Track they're both really cool!.

HEAVEN SAYS.

This track comes from わたしのココ, a self-titled album by Watashi No Koko. To be specific, this is from the 2008 version, released as Kesson Shoujo in 2008, before the actual わたしのココ album in 2009. At some point, it was a little hard to find, but you can now download a lot of obscure releases of the band from archive dot org. Yay! You just have to look up わたしのココ in japanese alphabet.

The singer in all the songs is a japanese vocal synthesizer called LaLaVoice, alternatively ララボイス. It was created over 25 years ago, and while it had a text-to-speech function, it's mostly known for the included LaLaSong program, which, simply put, was a precursor to singing voice synthesizers we know today. A version of this software was also used in the game Vib-Ribbon, even thought the version used in the game is now lost. The last version version of the software was called LaLaVoice2001. Even thought LaLaVoice is now impossible to get legally, it can still be downloaded through sources such as archive.org (I wouldn't recommend it if you don't know any japanese thought, it's very hard to navigate after all).
