Once upon a time, on a balmy Friday afternoon, bandits, merrymakers, misfits and harlots sailed along the cliff strewn Balearic island of Mallorca. They celebrated the gladiator Maxamillian’s trip around a star, while Miroslav conducted the orchestra to the rhythm of the sails ruffling in the wind until the sun sunk into the blue horizon.

This is to celebrate the precious opportunity I had to host some ecstatic dance sessions in Florence, the city that is like a home town for me. I thank all the old and new friends who joined what for many was a new experience. This is dedicated to all of you, who supported this adventure, Laura and Pamela, the staff from Teatro Instabile, Graziella, the other Laura, Valeria, Birbo, my family and all the people who reached out with so much openness and a big wish to dance and release. This is the recording of our last session, with a few Italian songs woven into the fabric of this ecstatic tapestry... // Eigenklang - Live in Minca ///

In December 2018 our journey brought us up the mountains around Minca in Colombia. The folks from Aloha Ke Akua Retreat asked us to do a three day long sound healing workshop in which everybody was invited to play in our eigenklang installation. 

Accompanied by the birds and our friends Biomigrant, Elli and Dani we created magic soundscapes - inspired by the jungles around us. For this Voodoocast we took the sweetest spots out of the 9 hours of recorded sessions in the Maloca, mixed it with some field recordings and did some editing here and there.

In a way this 1 hour long chain of songs is a representation of the mood rollercoaster the first month of quarantine brought to me and perhaps to a lot of us, but more than a than that I hope it serves as a gentle companion that can inspire patience, hope, curiosity and turn nostalgia into a beautiful feeling during this slow and uncertain times.
