AlpaKa MuziK is proud to present our 16th edition of AlpaKast, a series of sets and mixes by talented DJs & producers from all around the world.

We have a very special guest for this one; none other than the legendary Breger!! It's an incredible honour to host one of of our favorite artists.
As you would expect, he absolutely smashed this one out of the park.

He starts off with some groovy psychedelic techno and finishes with dark progressive beats that'll keep you body movin' and groovin'. A little something for everyone ;)
If you're looking for a mix that'll keep you energy levels way up there, you've found it!

We recently released his remix of Isolated Youth by Lampé and it was an absolute hit, being played by DJs all around the world.

A little about the artist:
Goa based Breger, is not one to sit still. As co- founder of the music label Copycow and Beatplantation festival in Germany, he has spent the last 15 years in support of the underground culture.
Breger’s own style varies from minimal to savage techno and reflects his dark and groovy approach. His love for the psychedelic elements is evident in his productions and continues to inspire.

Last weekend in Berlin I had a last minute gig at Sisyphos in Berlin! 
I opened the Hammahalle stage and it was packed in 10 minutes, such an amazing club and night.

✦ The Low Down ✦

Man we are absolutely BLOWN AWAY by this SoundCast. Zenon Records label DJ - Vaeya has come to the SixthSense party packing the tastiest, juiciest dark, minimal, prog tunes. Zenonesque that will get you cutting shapes whilst sitting in your office chair or maybe get you doing mad haks on St Kilda beach tonight. 

No stranger to the Australian / NZ circuit, Vaeya moved to the land down under in 2003 and it became a huge influence on his subsequent music production and DJ sets, being amongst a scene where artists like Sensient, Suncontrolspecies, Tetrameth, Shadow FX played on the regular. This inspired Vaeya and bush-prog became his main weapon of choice out of which the Zenon sound appealed to him the most. Since then, Vaeya has gone on to release on his beloved Zenon Records amongst other labels such as Occulta and Techgnosis. He's also played on some of the psychedelic world's biggest stages at Oregon Eclipse, Twisted Frequency amongst many others. 

A diverse musician and a master of many trades. We are extremely honoured to be hosting Vaeya this week and boy are we sure that you boys and girls are going to enjoy this set, big time !!!!

Cubex, born in Switzerland, discovered his passion for electronic music at a young age and began DJ'ing at 17. His initial interest in music quickly evolved into a deep passion for Drum&Bass and Techno. Over the years, Cubex honed his skills by performing at various local and national events while simultaneously organizing his own event series and co-founding the Drum & Bass label "Perkussiv Music".

At the age of 30, driven by a desire to take the next step, Cubex made the decision to temporarily step back from promoting and focus on producing music in 2010. His unique style is characterized by daring and creative beat combinations that reflect his musical roots and personal identity. By merging rhythmic and energetic House and Techno beats with hypnotic, psychedelic, and dark atmospheres inspired by Psytrance and Drum&Bass, Cubex has crafted a distinctive sound. He describes his music as "deep and twisted Psy-Techno".

Cubex's impressive discography boasts over 200 tracks, which have been released on more than 30 esteemed labels worldwide, including Zenon Records, AlpaKa Musik, Techgnosis, miniMahlzeit, Copycow, Lethal Dose, and many others. With each release, his international recognition has grown, resulting in an increasing number of bookings for gigs and festivals across the globe.
