Univ Hertz – Producteur de musique électronique basé sur l’Île de La Réunion. In this episode you can catch ECTIMA's Apex Of The Vortex live set with tracks from their upcoming album and some older tracks as well. ECTIMA represents the perfect chemistry between the leaders of TesseracTstudio – Flegma (Dalibor Delic) and Zyce (Nikola Kozic). Their unique style can be described as constant sound-shifting, dynamic breaks, and changes in rhythmic patterns. The dynamic duo began the idea of collaboration in 2004, the year when an extraordinary underground project was born. The debut album No Way Out, released by Geomagnetic TV in the USA in 2008, brought significant attention to the project and propelled their performances at the biggest festivals worldwide. After the birth of Ectima, Dalibor and Nikola founded an artist organization called TesseracTstudio, which later became a record label and the home for the Ectima project. The second album, Ground Defense, was released on TesseracTstudio in 2010, followed by the third studio album, The Clash of Civilizations, in 2015. Today, Ectima is working on their fourth studio album, planned for 2025.

Originally - Scottish. I have lived in England mostly. I've enjoyed, as a collector/listener, many different types of genres since the 70s. But only recently have started live set DJ mixing.

Origins:-

I have always enjoyed music, throughout my life, just as a listener/appreciater, and not as a DJ or musician. I've enjoyed so many different genres and sub-genres.
When I returned from living in Spain, about a decade ago, I eventually found a night shift job to pay the bills, and free me up to start doing music compilations/mixes during daylight. I'd only, before then, made compilation tapes, then CDs, but never live mixed, until recently.
I thought that making music for a living would eventually be my ideal job, actually making myself money for a change, instead of always working for others, making them money. 
So. I started, with a Creative Commons licence, on Mixcloud then Soundcloud, to do my own live mixes. The objective was to get known worldwide, targeting the largest audience - people without money.
This way, I could market my name/brand to a very large audience. With a personal belief that one if the world's major issues being greed, so I readily made the music free.
I've been focusing solely on the music quality, as a DJ should. I've been teaching myself ethnic percussion drums, and when playing those, I play better when I'm not thinking about what I'm doing, making it all subconscious, like my music journey. 
The way, I think, that this all works, is because I've gained a mass of knowledge, with all the different types and genres throughout my life, and I'm on the precipice of starting to make, and work towards, making my own stuff.
I'm 58 now, and have seen so many types of music, and now realise it's time to follow my dream for a change.
