Your mind really does control your reality, and sometimes when you can’t seem to find the good in anything, or appreciate what you have, it becomes hard to want to feel anything at all. If all you feel is negative, then why feel at all... Dealing with emotional issues is something most people struggle with the most because it feels like your mind is working against you; the longing for stability but not knowing how to get there or where to start. It makes being truly happy seem like an impossible task, and the disappointment of not having it only increases how bad you feel. I find that coming to terms with this feeling and accepting it helps overcome it, as opposed to running and hoping you can outrun those negative feelings - face them, ask yourself where they came from. Dig deep into the source; I feel like it’s only then that can you start figuring out how to help yourself, and only you can find those answers.
