Live orchestra strings glide easily alongside vocal contributions by Sunday Lane, whose voice encapsulates the dreamy ambiance Blankenburg so skillfully delivers in soft piano movements. Kaleidoscope builds with evolving emotion, wholly compelling, moving, and swirling with earnesty; a mélange of beauty and passion with overwhelming sentiment, almost paradoxical in its intensity – like a daydream we wish to wake from.
