As event curator, Cukier’s Codeword events have been praised for “expertly smudging the line between the emotive and dynamic”. With a focus on timeless and immersive techno, Codeword lineups have featured artists including Efdemin, Boris, Inigo Kennedy, Inland, Blind Observatory and Jamaica Suk. The event series is set to return to the dancefloor in 2022.

Cukier [Codeword] joins J-Shadow's monthly Threads Radio show with a 90 minute guestmix (29:50-01:59:59). Cukier's sound incorporates a heady mix of driving, hypnotic and immersive techno with a tasteful smattering of deeper, emotive textures: sexy, high-octane grooves designed for many hours on the dancefloor. Over the past two years, Cukier has showcased this approach with the establishment of Codeword, the Berlin-inspired techno party at London's leading underground techno establishment, FOLD. With Codeword, Cukier has hosted and played alongside Berghain / Panorama Bar residents Efdemin and Boris; Token Records heavyweight, Inigo Kennedy; and has collaborated with British DJ/producer, Inland (Ed Davenport) and Taiwanese promoter and label, Smoke Machine. Codeword will return to FOLD in late summer/early autumn. J-Shadow's 'Diencephalon Diaries' show returns to Threads Radio next month.

Cukier returns to @threadsradio with a 1-hour solo show under the banner of his event-series and music-platform, Codeword: the Berlin-inspired techno party which takes place at FOLD (@foldldn). Cukier's 1h hypnotic trek includes new tracks from Psyk, Alfredo Mazzilli, Luke Slater and Tensal as well as recent and earlier releases from Four Tet, Edit Select, Deep'a & Biri, Inland and Donato Dozzy. 

Codeword has hosted the likes of Berghain / Panorama Bar residents Efdemin and Boris; Inigo Kennedy; Inland; as well as breakthrough international talent, among them, Blind Observatory, Jamaica Suk and Diskonnected. 

The party, which was due to resume at FOLD in May, plans to return post-lockdown. Stay tuned.
