Patrixia is a dark techno DJ and producer who broke into Chicago’s dark electronic scene at a small goth and rock night in October 2017.  Her performances create an environment that welcomes an eclectic audience from all over the city, regardless if she’s playing at a local club or an institution like Spybar. Patrixia‘s influences come from Giallo movies, darkwave, and acid techno. They are apparent in her taste in techno tracks that incorporate anything from synthesizers to industrial drums.

"I started off this mix with my current favorite release of the summer--it's a remix of the classic Fast Eddie track, "Acid Thunder." As I progressed through the mix, I felt urged to go hard and heavy. I end it with tracks that make you want to bounce around in a crowded, sweaty club in the early morning hours. I miss seeing people lose their minds to massive tracks, and I can't wait until we can do it again."

A. Since I was a tween in the early 2K's (I grew up 20 minutes away in NJ) but as a DJ, since 2010.

A. Just an eclectic mix of midtempo beats hopefully suited for home/park listening. During quar my listening habits have pretty much regressed to that of an angst ridden highschooler circa 2004 so I wanted to break out of that with something that was easy to digest.

This mix features acoustic and electronic sounds with focuses
