Culture73.com is an online magazine dedicated to balancing the perception of Hip-hop culture in mass media. Culture73.com founder and music critic Drew SoulQuest fears that hip-hop lovers are accepting hip-hop music without understanding the value of its original culture.  Drew SoulQuest believes that the presentation of hip-hop industry is unbalanced and the encompassing culture of hip-hop is misrepresented in media.

Formed on August 11,1973 in the Bronx borough of New York City, hip-hop was created as a catalyst for social revolution. Hip-hop seeks change through expressions of the creative arts such as emceeing, deejaying, graffiti, breakdancing, and beat-boxing.  Culture73.com maintains this legacy with exclusive coverage of live music and hip-hop festivals, fashion designers, education, and featured interviews with major and independent hip-hop artists.
