This is my first release in over ten years and I'm heading in a different direction to my older releases. This one is inspired by two of my young loves: London squat parties and militant EA raves. The acid techno and that darkside breakbeat hardcore sound you'd hear in the morning at the squats, with the energy of the main event at a Thetford Forest party. Warehouse rattlin' darkside jungle techno, drenched in 303s.
It's dedicated to one of my partners in crime of the time, Phil Sayer, who introduced me to much of the above and always pushed me to keep releasing tunes, with his support and brutal critique. I took samples of one of his original poems for the track ACAB, from his performance in our old living room. He loved vinyl, 303s, darkside and hardcore, so I think he woulda been chuffed.
Pre-orders will be available when the test pressings arrive mid Feb.
