I made sound design for a new Acid Topser project. He always did some really cool projects that took my breath away and left me wondering how he came up with it and realized it.

But this project is special, I decided to expand this story with the eponymous mixtape "The ugliest pretty sunset".

Acid Topser shared important tracks that he associated with various scenes and events in the project.

I hear the audio landscape. I listen carefully, I really like it.
I love and have deep respect for what I hear. At the same time, I have an idea of ​​how and what I want to rebuild in this landscape.

Gradually, the desire develops into a necessity.

The storm of emotions retold in this project prompted me to a certain method of overlaying different drum samples and random voice recordings mixed with granular synthesis.

I see in this way the expression of a large number of different and rather deep emotions, which are realized only to some extent, but together add up to something one, but very textured. Mixing console in the head of the main character.

I used several samplers and my modular system on a mac.

Painted a canvas, yes, that's what I was trying to do.

Почала музичну кар’єру у 2015 році, грала зокрема в харківській Kultura Zvuku, на фестивалі «Брудний пес», також її можна почути на 20ft Radio та Gasoline Radio. Співорганізаторка формації Моціон.

🔘 AXT is a Ukrainian producer and DJ from Kropyvnytskyi. She plays mostly drum'n'bass, jungle, dubstep and techno. At the same time, her other specialization is experimental and ambient, which can be heard during her b2b with Andriy Kostyukov.

AXT started her musical career in 2015, she played in Kharkiv's Kultura Zvuku, at the «Brudnyj pes» festival, and can also be heard on 20ft Radio and Gasoline Radio. She is a co-organizer of the formation Motsion.

З початком повномасштабної війни ми повністю перестали слухати музику. З плином часу ця важлива складова нашого життя повернулась у сьогодення. Пів року назад, після чергового обстрілу міста, я вийшов на пробіжку і у абсолютній темряві раптом уявив цей подкаст - дуже детально, аж до фрази “Всім привіт, це перший епізод Карі Клаб радіо і його відкриває Максо Крім”. Через місяць, я сказав те саме у мікрофон. А сьогодні ми публікуємо вже пʼятий випуск. Хоч це і зовсім небагато, та цікаво дивитись на такі речі у ретроспективі - яким би було наше життя, якби та фраза не була сказана?
Я вірю що у силу творчості, свободи та відповідальності - то хай це буде наш внесок у культурний супротив тій реальності, яку намагається побудувати держава-террорист.

With the beginning of the war, we completely stopped listening to music. Over time, this important component of our life has returned to the present. Half a year ago, after another shelling of the city, I went for a run and in the absolute darkness I suddenly imagined this podcast - in great detail, up to the phrase "Hello everyone, this is the first episode of Curry Club Radio and it is opened by Maxo Kream". A month later, I said the same thing into the microphone. And today we are publishing the fifth episode. Although it is not much, it is interesting to look at such things in retrospect - what would our life be like if that phrase had not been said?
I believe that in the power of creativity, freedom and responsibility - let it be our contribution to the cultural resistance to the reality that the terrorist state is trying to build.
