"This Was A Mix I Did While Cutting Class Back In 1995 And Will Be The First Release From My Studio’s Archive Series. This Mix Was Originally Released On Cassette As “Rare Equations” Through A Mix Tape Company Called Hip Hop Vibes Along With “Sick Experiment,” “Theories Not Yet Proven” And “The Diabolical” Which Came Before It. However This Mix Was My Favourite Because It Showcased Mixing All Kinds Of Music, Not Just The Latest Rap Singles Coming Out At The Time. In a world where once solid and ancient institutions are becoming increasingly malleable - science, government, spirituality and even music, the era of staunch loyalty to any one branch is over. Genre Fluid is a statement piece by budding DJ and Turntablist Civillian. This two hour expedition of dance music does not adhere to the typical boundaries. At its heart it is an homage to two of the most foundational yet polarizing genres of electronic music: Drum n Bass and House. On its sleeve it is embracing the similarities of both.
Heads and collectors of either genre will be pleased to hear a variety of era and style within the selections and mixing, and hopefully will find a new appreciation for the other side, breaking down walls and building bridges.

This summer I broke my leg and spent two months without using it. I used the time to record this mix, something a little chiller than my usual flavours. No matter what you are recovering from an injury or a hangover, I hope it's a full recovery at whatever speed is necessary.
