Seven Succulents is a continuation of my 2009 release Six Silicates. Where Six Silicates was a nod to crystals, Seven Succulents explores the weird and wonderful world of desert plants. The music thrives and grows from a single seed, winding its roots delicately through sand, communicating through beacons of sound sent across vast arid landscapes. The songs are named after plants I have tended and cared for over the years, and the collection exists as an homage to the wonders of nature; a love note for quiet desert foliage. 

Seven Succulents features additional musicians Mike Greenfield (of LOTUS) on drums, Samuel Wexler on violin, Timmayo Sheehan on flute, Lynne Watts on vocals, and “The We’re Home Family Drum Brigade" crammed in my living room making a whole lot of noise.

Hello everybody!  Here's my mix from The Glitter Ranch Saloon at the 2017 Oregon Eclipse Festival this past summer in August!  Full of funk boogie breaks and house, with a litttle extra cheese sauce cause dammmmnn those Dumplings were good!!  This was an impromptu set, off the cuff and full of some of my favorite boogie down tracks throughout the years! One of my resident DJ sets opening up for Craftal, Chrome Wolves, and Buku.  The night went off,- every artist put together a great set
However, I feel this might be some of my best work yet, mashing, looping, and mixing through your inner and outer cosmos.... Honestly, I'm excited to keep pushing my limits.

So this mix is not for the faint of heart, its some of the hardest, filthiest, most psychedelic music I have in my arsenal.  It is probably best suited for your super hyphee house party or gym time.  I'm gonna have to dig deep for my next set.
