Cutmaster Slice is an anomaly among today’s hip-hop DJ’s. His unique ability to combine the fundamental elements of DJ’ing with a playlist that is known to satisfy a broad range of hip-hop fans make him one of the most sought-after performers in the music business.

Since beginning his DJ career at the age of 15, Cutmaster Slice has remained faithful to his roots in the City of Cleveland where he continues to reign as one the area’s top mixers. He attributes his growth as a DJ to the early influence of legendary DJ’s such as Grandmaster Flash, DJ Q-Bert and Roc Raida.

These early influences inspired Cutmaster Slice to perfect his skills as a turntablist, and he frequently competed in DJ Battles across the Midwest, showcasing his ability to beat match, scratch and juggle records with the best of the Midwest. Cutmaster Slice quickly became the man to beat in Midwest DJ competitions where he was victorious over well-known talent in national competitions such as the Kool Mixx Battle and the Guitar Center Spin-off.

Slice was satisfied with the recognition and stardom that came from winning these competitions, but this was just the beginning of a promising career behind the wheels of steel.

In 2006, after taking time away from DJ battles to focus on building his name on the club circuit, Cutmaster Slice was tapped to produce “The 5 O’clock Bomb” Mixshow on Cleveland’s highest rated radio station, WENZ, reaching thousands of listeners each day.

These days Cutmaster Slice continues to augment his impressive resume. He is currently producing Z107.9's Saturday Night Mix Show, airing every Saturday from 8pm until 10pm. A live broadcast from Club Sin immediately following the mix show, airs from 10pm until 1am.

Cutmaster Slice has an established reputation as one of the most skilled DJ’s in Midwest, it is no surprise that Slice is now on the radar of many record label executives and other big names in hip-hop. Cutmaster Slice has emerged as a name that consistently appears on anyone’s short list of top worldwide DJ talent.
