Before there was T Que, a boy by the name of Troy Henderson was just another kid in South Side Jamaica Queens with unreachable dreams. Always used to trade punch lines with his friends in a joking matter. He didn't consider performing professionally as a viable career choice.

Growing up watching his mother raise both his sister and himself alone, his eyes opened to how hard he had to work to make things better. That consisted of passing all classes and getting a job young to help contribute to whatever his mother needed. He always loved to listen and never speak unless asked a question. That way he felt he was always learning something new. Music was a must for him, listening to all genres to catch all aspects. Dancehall and hip hop were his top choices. Still never wrote a rhyme or showed interest in being a performer because he loved the sounds he was hearing. 

After completing high-school and prior to beginning college, his brother died while incarcerated and police pronounced his death suicide. Watching his brother practically dead on life support, he vowed that his brother's death will be avenged believing that the police murdered his brother. For a few years of trying to touch the untouchable, he was at work one day and with "no disrespect" he says, he heard an artist named Waka Flaka and saw that he was getting his message through to the world and wasn't that great of an artist. He figured, "well if this guy can make it then I know I can blow the world away with my story". Thus, T Que was created off the strenght of his second love of basketball. His street ball name was "Lay Up King" & "Too Quick". He choose to use "Too Quick" and shortened it to "T Que".

In 2010, T Que instantly began writing up to 2 songs a day. In February of 2011, T Que met a man named Stephen Carbone a.k.a.Bones who helped him with studio life. Also introduced him to the world of open mics and competitions. With no hesitation, T Que took on all challenges. He performed at numerous events and venues. In February 2013 T Que dropped both the "Quadrupolar" mixtape and the "Taking The Heat" album. Soon after, he met a manager/promoter named Jose Adames who took a liking to his style an a future is yet to come.
