The past 18 months (since the last time I posted my Fusion recording) have been truly memorable for me, with many unforgettable experiences all over the world, new places, new friends and above all some amazing support along the way. I am grateful to have this opportunity to travel around the world to stages where I can expose my music. 

One of the key moments came back on April 1st when I closed DGTL Amsterdam’s Frequency Stage. I was exhilarated throughout, and I felt that I achieved a very strong connection with the people that were there that day. So much, so that I decided to go back to my studio to record the set again, so that I could share it with everyone once more here. Thank you to everyone that let this set come alive. That rising fear of being sat next to your touchy Uncle? Putting on a brave face when you receive distasteful pound shop pants from Nan?

It all gets too much until…. The happy chaps from up north slither down the chimney packing a stocking full of hallucinogens. Whatever you want. This is no Status Quo song. This is a side-splitting menu of uppers to get you through any awkward social situation. 

Their latest concoction…. Positive Endolphins. A rare breed of fungi that is easy on the eye (with its bottle nosed shape) yet aggressive on the endorphins. Meaning you’ll be off your nut through to Boxing Day. 

They’ve composed a soundtrack to enjoy during this reality hiatus. If hard hallucinogenic’s aren’t your thing, we’re supplying just the audio to try and lift your spirits. 

We recommend the whole package, but can’t supply it due to legal reasons. Of course, this blurb is fictional. If you believe we’re offering hard drugs as a Christmas alternative, you’ve missed our sense of humour.

The more we live in the new realities, the harder it becomes to imagine what life would be like if the virus thing had not happened at all. It’s only a matter of time when we’ll run out of days we had planned before the pandemic, which became invisible pages in some unwritten book. We’ll then come to terms with the new days, realizing that we are going to divide life before the isolation and after it, stuck amid some incomprehensible present, a what-we-could-have-done past and the what-comes-ahead future. No matter how fast we come to terms with the fact that we need to redefine and re-plan everything, and no matter how soon we decide to abstain from planning anything at all, we are nonetheless going to have a small and insignificant feeling of regret for the days we thought were important and were going to change the way we felt and the way saw things. And those “unfulfilled days” will remain the only link between the former and future realities.
@vikenarman and @acidpauli’s six-hour set they played at @Rambalkoshe marked, in some sense, the beginning of their joint performances. They were supposed to play b2b all night long at Berlin’s Watergate club today to officially kick start the new chapter both of them were so passionate about. To celebrate such a milestone, we are publishing an excerpt from the set this unbelievable symbiosis played at Rambalkoshe a year ago and took around hundred people to a different dimension, filled with nothing but incredible and infinite energy.
