Crash Party, the elusive duo. Easily mistaken for men in black. They can be seen sweeping into disco’s that lack energy clothed in suits and shades. Under their arms they carry a medley of lap tops, controllers, bass and shed load of funk! After four finger slapping the DJ, they plug in their gear, Bun the dance, then hover out the building leaving a mosh pit behind them. 

It’s a demanding job in this day and age, so how do the boys relax? One prunes a Rhododendron while the other trims the Hibiscus. That’s right! Crash Party are bad boy gardeners! Hence the title of their new EP “Funk to Ur Roots.”

We kick off proceedings with the title track produced post thumbing gardeners weekly. The lads have started as they mean to go on. Combining guitar licks with heavy bass and hip-hop VOX, resulting in a fine-tuned neck snapper.

Are You Ready Now? Alright, I’ve just finished mowing the lawn. This banger features one of funks favourite horn samples that has been given a complete lick of paint. After the garden fence of course! The boys signature sound has this one ready to destroy dancefloors!

Kick it Like…. Oi! No balls near the Fox gloves mate! Once again CP have plucked a well-used sample and managed to make it sound better than ever with dope bass lines, head nodding beats and fresh samples keeping it trim and tidy for the party people!

Get Up and Dance! The garden’s done and it’s time to hit the clubs. For the last tune they’ve picked the tempo up. Spliced some Soul with some thumpin’ bass and beats. What’s the end result? The clues in the title.
